Cross Bows
This page will be used for several shows. We will be adding on to it as we go. This is a site which I have found in the past which has many interesting plans: http://www.vintageprojects.com/archery-plans.html
The PVC Crossbow was designed by Chris Henry. 3/4'' PVC prod, 2x4 douglas fir stock, 3/16'' steel cable string, 1/2'' doweling and BBQ skewers for the trigger assembly, and lumber banding material for the bolt holder. All told, about $8 in materials. http://paleoplanet69529.yuku.com/topic/59453/50-lbs-PVC-Crossbow#.VR35ZeE72iE http://www.ted.com/talks/dong_woo_jang_the_art_of_bow_making
